Merianos Greek Restaurant

We were only in Corfu for 2 days, and we came here twice!! It’s great, locals food. Annie and Hector are awesome. It’s great food, great people, great atmosphere. I’d recommend this place to anyone coming to Corfu!! Everything we had was delicious. You can’t go wrong!

Real authentic food flavours! Moussaka was amazing! And the white beans in red sauce are a must to try. Sardines were nice too! Service was very pleasant! Non stop take away food was being served for local people -this tells you a lot! Highly recommend! Located in-between the airport and the old town.

Delicious food and very kind and helpful staff. Food is prepared daily, mostly for locals who order it to go. There is no menu, each day there is a slightly different variety offered. Just approach the very kind waitress and let her explain to you what is currently available. I rarely eat more than once in the same place when on holidays, I visited this place on multiple occasions during my 7 day stay on Corfu. Just great!

Merianos is a small but fantastic restaurant that serves traditional Greek food.The food is already prepared and on display. As the place is very popular, the food is quickly replaced and always fresh. Another advantage is that the food is served very quickly. The staff informed me that the available dishes vary a little from day-to-day.The staff spoke excellent English and were able to explain to us exactly what each dish contained.We chose the lamb, which was perfectly cooked, meat balls (chicken and beef), green beans, and peas. Each dish was delicious, wholesome, and filling. We paid about 40 for four plates of food, which I think is great value, especially for the fresh quality.If you're after some local cuisine, I highly recommend them.

We stopped by here to get take away to eat at the airport before our evening flight. We both decided to take the pork rib with potatoes and they were the best thing we ate in 10 days in Corfu! The gentleman who helped us was very friendly and quick. Wish we had discovered this place sooner

Small and cosy place with only a few tables beside Saroko square. Service is rapid and very polite. They serve plenty of Greek dishes, classic local vegetarian also, at reasonable prices. We had musaka, roast beef and Greek salad . All dishes were excellent. Highly recommended for served lunch or take away.

Merianos, just a brief 5-minute stroll outside of town, is an absolute must-visit. It's the kind of place where the locals flock, and once you step inside, you'll understand why. While the restaurant itself may be no-frills, the magic lies in their commitment to crafting every dish from scratch, evoking memories of the delectable meals our grandmothers used to make.This place is a culinary gem that goes beyond the ordinary, offering a delightful selection of Corfu dishes alongside beloved Greek classics. To savor your preferred choices, it's advisable not to arrive too late; the most popular selections tend to vanish quickly.

This restaurant is amazing. I found this spot randomly on my first day and couldn’t stop eating there. Sometimes I went twice a day. The taste of every dish I ordered was on another level (I traveled around the world and would call my self a big food lover). They only sell local dishes that are freshly made every morning. I recommend going around 2pm so you have the most dishes available.
